Encoding Services
Encoding is a service that EBS provides to convert your existing media into a digital format for TV broadcasting, IP Streaming or any other video medium.
EBS Encoding Suite
Our equipment is state of the art and can deal with many different formats including:
- Digital BETACAM
- BETACAM SP
- MPEG IMX
- BETACAM SX
- VHS
- DVD
- CD
- Previously encoded formats (codec dependent)
Encoding process
The source material is captured into our encoding suite. Any necessary editing is then carried out (fading, cropping and audio normalization, etc.), then encoded into the chosen format for the relevant broadcast medium. If we air the channel the media clip would be ingested onto the broadcast channel.
