Our playout system provides the vital link in the delivery of digital media content from the broadcasters to a captive audience. Whether you require a completely managed service or have the ability to control your own channel, our bespoke systems and experienced team of technicians can provide a solution to suit.

Our fully managed playout service is a cost-effective method which allows our customers to focus on the growth of their business, secure in the knowledge that here at EBS we can ensure the smooth playout of your channel. By taking advantage of this fully managed service there is no requirement for in-house specialist expertise as EBS adopts this role.

Alternatively, EBS can provide a customer controlled playout system which provides broadcasters with the opportunity to have remote access at any location ranging from their television studio to their own house. The playout facility is co-located with uplink facilities which means broadcasters can save up to 50,000 each year on circuit costs.

Through the use of our in-house tapeless solution using a host of technologies (DV, DVCAM, DVCPRO, DVCPRO50, D-9, DVDPRO HD, D10, M-JPEG, YUV 4:2:2 and YUVA 4:2:2:3 8/10-bit uncompressed SD and HD, MPEG-2 I-frame YUV 4:2:2 and YUVA 4:2:2:4 in SD and HD, MPEG-2 IBP in SD and HD, and HDV), EBS is able to incorporate both live and recorded programmes into your broadcast. We can incorporate your logo and graphics and manage on screen activities such as ticker tape, JPEG's and animation to reflect the channel's overall brand and identity.
